"RASTIGABELAS" is a combination of two words: "Ras" and "Tigabelas" that is according to the Kamus Dewan (Malay Dictionary), the definition of "Ras" is race, ethnic group, or descent (Fourth Edition of Kamus Dewan), while tigabelas (or thirteen) is one of the numbers in the general numbering system.
"Rastigabelas" is my personal platform created as a eye-opener, a showcase, and at the same time celebrating any great products of Sarawak.
"RAS" is also an acronym for the slogan -self created, "Revolusi Anak Sarawak" (Revolution of Sarawak's Descendent), which describes the struggle of the Sarawakians to break away from the ordinary and spirit to constantly improves ourself, in order to align with time and needs.
Beside known as common code for Sarawakian IC's , Rastigabelas' "Tigabelas (13)" also inspired by the Nationalist spirit in the pre-Sarawak independent's movement, RUKUN-13. Rukun13 is very significant in our Sarawak's History, as it sparks fresh ideas, and dare to sacrifice for the sake of Motherland of Sarawak.
